At this year’s Lab Innovations exhibition, Clean Air has ditched the pens and stress balls in favour of a much greener giveaway! For every visitor to our stand (D50), we will plant a UK sapling in local woodlands on your behalf – and send you a certificate telling you where it’s located and what species it is. Of course, there will still be chocolate!
This initiative is just one example of our commitment to sustainability and our mission to lead the fume cupboard industry in environmental responsibility.
As finalists for the Lab Innovations Sustainable Innovation Award, in what is a very strong field this year, Clean Air is proud to showcase the latest advances in sustainable technology. Since 2017, we’ve reduced our carbon footprint annually, even as our turnover has grown, and have invested heavily in developing a new, groundbreaking net-zero type-testing method for fume cupboards. This innovative approach involves using advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). It eliminates the need for harmful greenhouse gases while ensuring optimal containment.
On our stand we’ll be featuring two state-of-the-art fume cupboards that have been type-tested with this pioneering CFD method, proving their effectiveness without damaging the planet. Both the OPTIMAX and the PPX have been tested and optimised without releasing any SF6 gas.
The Clean Air team are looking forward to sharing our progress with you and discussing how we can help you achieve your own sustainability goals.
Join us in making a positive impact at Lab Innovations, and plant a tree with CFD!
