Scott of the Arctic

London UK, August 7th, 2024 – ​Scott and his team from the Microbiology and Infectious Diseases department at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, set out on 250 km of unsupported polar travel to test the portability, accuracy and robustness of Dragonfly. In temperatures as low as -35 degrees, and at a height of 3,250 ft, Scott was able to successfully deploy Dragonfly’s powerful diagnostic capabilities, confirming two Influenza A cases in the process.
