About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Director, the role involves managing a project from order receipt to final commissioning. This comprises:

In-person and remote meetings with our customers to finalise their requirements
Visiting customer sites to agree ductwork routes and take measurements
Preparing 2D (AutoCad) general arrangement drawings of fume cupboards and extract systems for customer approval
Liaise with design department who produce production drawings and Bills of Materials for fume cupboards
Place orders for bought-out components
Monitor actual project costs vs budget
Issue work for production
Prepare H&S information
About You

You will have excellent 2D CAD skills.

A minimum of 2 years of industry experience within a similar project engineer role. Ductwork design knowledge would be desirable.

You will have a good understanding of materials and manufacturing methods. Our products are currently manufactured predominately from fabricated steel and aluminium, plastics, glass and other panel materials and it’s important for you to have a logical approach to problem solving and awareness of manufacturing limitations.
